CAC Coatings was engaged to complete a substantial commercial repaint of a warehouse and adjoining two-level office areas in Bethania.

The existing offices featured extensive exposed brickwork and darker finishes, which made the spaces feel enclosed and dated. The project involved refreshing the office areas with a lighter colour scheme, including painting existing brickwork, walls, doors, frames and trims to create a brighter, cleaner and more professional environment.

Works also extended into the warehouse, including repainting designated wall areas and preparing and recoating the existing concrete warehouse floor.

The result was a significant transformation across the property, giving both the offices and warehouse a cleaner, brighter and more professional appearance.

Before We Started

The property contained a combination of exposed brickwork, previously painted surfaces and a well-used warehouse floor. The office areas were particularly dark due to the amount of exposed brick, while the warehouse and floor were ready for a general refresh.

Before painting commenced, the different surfaces and existing coatings were assessed so the appropriate preparation and painting systems could be used throughout the project.

Preparation varied depending on the existing surface and its condition.

Office walls, brickwork, doors, frames and trims were prepared as required before painting. Previously painted surfaces were cleaned and prepared to provide a suitable surface for recoating.

For the warehouse floor, the agreed preparation involved thoroughly cleaning the existing concrete floor, scraping back loose material where required, sanding the surface and vacuuming before application of the floor coating.

The existing floor was being refreshed rather than resurfaced or restored, so existing scratches, marks and imperfections within the concrete remained part of the substrate.

The finished project completely changed the feel of the commercial property. Painting the previously exposed brickwork helped brighten the office areas, while the lighter finishes created a cleaner and more open working environment.

The warehouse repaint and freshly coated concrete floor completed the transformation, providing the owner with a refreshed commercial space ready for continued use.
