Complete Exterior Repaint of a Rural Farmhouse
RURAL FARMHOUSE EXTERIOR TRANSFORMATION
Located in Dubbo, NSW, this rural farmhouse was given a complete exterior repaint to refresh and transform the appearance of the home. Careful preparation was carried out before painting to ensure a clean, durable finish suited to the exposed conditions of a rural property.
Preparing the Exterior for Painting
Preparation was an important part of this rural farmhouse repaint. We pressure cleaned the exterior of the home, including the roof and deck areas, to remove built-up dirt and grime before painting began.
Surrounding surfaces were carefully masked and protected where required, before damaged and weathered areas were sanded, patched and prepared ready for painting. Once the preparation was complete, we began repainting the exterior walls using Dulux Weathershield to refresh the tired, sun-damaged exterior and provide a fresh, durable finish.
Preparation included:
✓ Pressure cleaning the exterior, roof and decks
✓ Masking and protecting surrounding surfaces
✓ Sanding weathered areas
✓ Patching where required
✓ Preparing surfaces for new coatings
✓ Applying Dulux Weathershield to the exterior
A Fresh New Look for the Farmhouse
The repaint brought the tired exterior back to life, giving the farmhouse a cleaner, fresher appearance while maintaining the character of the rural home. The new exterior finish provides added protection from the elements while creating a noticeable transformation from the weathered surfaces we started with.
